Top 10 Metros for Rising Real Estate Values

The Zillow Home Index report released Thursday found rising home values, measured year-over-year, in a mere 8 percent of U.S. metros. Collectively, the tracked metros saw home values drop 4.5 percent to $145,400.

Inman News reports:

“The average home value among the 10 markets with the highest year-over-year home-value gains in February was $136,880, while the average home value for all of the U.S. metros tracked by Zillow was $167,639, with an average year-over-year home-value change of 4.6 percent.”

The 10 markets posting the highest year-over-year gains in home values:

  1. Morristown, Tenn.
  2. Oklahoma City, Okla.
  3. Tulsa, Okla.
  4. Binghamton, N.Y.
  5. Fort Myers, Fla.
  6. Laconia, N.H.
  7. Ann Arbor, Mich.
  8. Fort Collins, Colo.
  9. Utica, N.Y.
  10. Lebanon, N.H.
